Dodging storm Dudley!

Although the latest storm to head our way was not predicted to arrive until later in the day, the wind was a very lively 21mph. The classic west-south-westerly meant for a reasonable outward leg but a tough challenge into the wind and waves on the way back.

I reflected that at the beginning of this challenge, having doubled my swimming distance from 250m to 500m each swim, I would not have contemplated going in a 21mph wind.

A rise in temperature of almost 1 degree to 6.9 degrees was a nice surprise, as is the realisation that I only have one more swim to nail in February for the challenge.
