Come on Eunice!

Writing this a few days after the actual arrival of Storm Eunice, I now feel very lucky to get my last swim of February in on 17th Feb. The sea has been wild since and may not ease up enough for me to get back in the water on Tuesday 22nd - my next available window.

The water temperature had dropped again but it was still just about 6 degrees.

After completing the swim and the required 3000m for February, I was delighted to be joined by some very brave young people on an exchange visit to Essex University. The two young Germans were determined to go in and did just that whilst I talked with their two friends; one from Norway and one from the Czech Republic. I hung around before biking home so that they could use our beach hut or cabin as they referred to it, which at least allowed them to change in comfort.
